Since I was raised southern Baptist, I grew up thinking that homosexuality in all forms was morally wrong and unnatural. I served active duty in the US Army from June 1999 to Nov 2003. When I joined, I figured a war breaking out would by highly unlikely and understood early on that I would not be in the military for my entire working life.
